Welcome to My Ministry Blog!
My name is Zsuzsa Mecséri-McNamara, and my ministry focus is on justice and freedom in Christ. I serve as the coordinator of the Set Free Movement in Hungary and as a support pastor for the Budapest Free Methodist Church and the Győr English Christian Ministires church. These roles allow me to combine two passions of my heart—protecting the vulnerable and caring for the church.
Through Set Free Hungary, I work to raise awareness and bring prevention programs to children, schools, and institutions. My goal is to help protect those most at risk of human trafficking by giving them tools and knowledge to stay safe. It is a privilege to walk into classrooms and communities with a message of hope and empowerment.
In my pastoral role, I serve the church through preaching, pastoral care, discipleship, and community events. I love seeing people grow in their faith and experience God’s presence in their everyday lives. My deepest passion is to see communities transformed by the love of Christ—where hope replaces despair, and freedom takes the place of fear.
This blog is a space where I will share stories, updates, and prayer requests from both aspects of my ministry. My desire is that as you read, you will not only stay connected to the work happening here in Hungary, but also be encouraged to join me in prayer and in celebrating what God is doing.
How You Can Pray
-
Pray for open doors and new opportunities in schools and among vulnerable children, as well as within the churches.
-
Pray for God’s provision, wisdom, and renewed passion as I continue to serve in both pastoral and justice ministries.
-
Pray for me and my family—for strength, encouragement, and blessing as we share life and ministry together.
