Ministry lately

It’s been a full and encouraging season of ministry lately! I’ve had the privilege of preaching in both our Budapest and Győr churches—moments that always remind me of God’s faithfulness and the power of community. I’m also grateful for the women who join our online Bible study and prayer group each week. Even across distances, we continue to grow together in faith and friendship.

On October 18, we held our “5,000 Steps for the Victims of Human Trafficking” walk, organized in partnership with two wonderful organizations. Around sixty participants joined us to raise awareness for those affected by trafficking. I was interviewed by a radio station and one of Hungary’s major news channels—an important opportunity to shed light on the increasing risks faced by children and to call for stronger protection and prevention efforts.

Another highlight came on October 31, when we continued our Cultural Series: Me and My Country at the children’s home. This time, university students from Japan and St. Lucia shared about their countries, the value of education, the importance of language learning, and the beauty of cultural understanding. More than ten children participated, exploring the history, culture, and social realities of these two nations. Their curiosity and thoughtful questions showed just how deeply these sessions are shaping their worldview.

Since 2023, this series has been opening doors for children who may never have the chance to travel, allowing them to see the world through the eyes of others. Each session offers a glimpse into different lives and stories, showing the power of education to expand horizons and inspire dreams. Please continue to pray for this special partnership with the university and our scholarship students as we work to broaden minds and nurture hope.

Thank you so much to these amazing students for participating in the children's home ministry!

I’m so thankful for everyone who prayed, walked, and stood with us. Together, we’re taking steps—both literally and spiritually—toward freedom, understanding, and restoration.

As we look ahead to the coming weeks, here are a few things you can be praying for:

  • November: Gabi’s school presentations

  • November 4: Anti-trafficking presentation at a university (Zsuzsi)

  • November 8: Visit to a safe home (Gabi and Péter)

  • November 17: High school prevention presentation (Zsuzsi)

  • Ongoing preaching and translation on Sundays

  • Online Bible study and prayer on Thursdays

Thank you for your prayers and encouragement—they make a real difference in this work.
