Dear Friends,
As I look back over the first months of this year, I am filled with gratitude for the ways God has been at work in my life, in the lives of those I serve, and in the communities I have the privilege to walk alongside.
Ministry has taken me deeply into the lives of people in Budapest and Győr, where I preach, translate, and journey alongside individuals — offering guidance, encouragement, and pastoral care. At our church in Győr, and during our weekly ladies’ Bible study, we’ve been exploring the themes of suffering and healing. Over the past weeks, I’ve walked alongside people as we have shared different stories, encountered different struggles, and witnessed many forms of brokenness — yet always discovering the same faithful God at work. Throughout this journey, our guiding verse has been Psalm 147:3:
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
This verse has been such a comfort and reminder that God is not distant from our struggles. He does not wait for us to fix ourselves before coming to us. Instead, He draws near, tenderly binding wounds and bringing healing, sometimes in ways we can see immediately, and sometimes in ways that only eternity will reveal. It has been a powerful reminder that suffering is not the end of the story — God is the healer of wounded hearts.
